Café Bon Bon at Le Petite Dauphine
Café Bon Bon held the last roaring flames on our Fireplaces in Franschhoek Media Trip and was a fitting ending to a rather delightful trip.
Before we hit the road back to Cape Town, we were treated to breakfast at the stylish Café Bon Bon on La Petite Dauphine Estate, complete with Prize Rooster Jan Hendrik and wheat-free blueberry flapjacks.
Set on a working fruit and wine farm, with views of the olive groves this elegant eatery is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
This charming cafe is set in a barn that dates as far back as 200 years ago! But one would never guess, with the inviting, warm, modern country chic setting.
I absolutely adored being greeted by the baby grand piano and the extensive (wine) library almost tempted me to linger a while longer.
Sadly we were not able to stick around for the wine tastings at this one founding farm of Franschhoek.
But if you would like to visit them, you can find them here:
