I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious beachfront guesthouse in Blouberg Cape Town, The Sir David Boutique Guesthouse.

This lovely property was discovered by co-owners Roland & Marcine Kuggelman in 2008. After revamping and renovating the doors opened in 2010.

Located in the lovely seaside suburb of Blouberg, Western Cape South Africa this guesthouse has prime real estate with direct beach access.

This lovely ocean-facing property boasts 10 luxury rooms (4 sea-facing and 6 Non-sea-facing) all kitted out with these amenities:

  • Digital Safe
  • Tea & Coffee Station

  • Bar Fridge
  • Flat Screen Televisions with satellite TV stations

Beach Boho

Visions of ocean serenity gracefully dance across the walls throughout The Sir David Boutique Hotel. These beautiful artworks are created by artist & co-owner Marcine Kuggelman.

There is an in-house bar and even a pool table, which is blue, to match the beach boho decor.

You can enjoy breakfast on the lower level. On a sunny day best to sit outside and soak up the golden rays whilst breathing that fresh ocean air.

Tucked away behind the property is a swimming pool with a barbecue area. As we all know South Africans do enjoy a good “braai”.
